The cliché in HR management used to be "Act Local - Think Global". However, in the current networked world, this needs revision. It is time for a change. Driven by our motto: "Act Global - Think Local", we hold a vast amount of international labour market knowledge on a regional level for over 40 countries. We perform local research upon which the information and training provided by ELM is based.

International education marketers do need to think ahead. Are students making their study abroad choices on the basis of educational factors alone? In fact, international education research specialist i-graduate's 2009 International Student Barometer study shows that fully 85% of surveyed students said that the country in which an education institution resides was important to their decision-making regarding study abroad.
