How to keep your finger on the pulse of international student opinion? Personal recommendation is the single greatest influence on choice of institution for international students. Today's students are reporting back to family and friends from the day they arrive at university or college, in turn influencing the choices of others. So how can we be sure our students are recommending the experience? When students are unhappy, they complain - well, some do. How do we know whether concerns are isolated, common or universal? Are we making the wrong promises in recruitment ... Or simply failing to deliver on campus? It's no secret that international students are often unhappy. But is that typical? How do expectations and experience differ between nationalities and subject areas? What are your students saying? How does it compare? Are you interested to find out?
Expertise in Labour Mobility organises regular invitation-only business lunches for the International Mobility Group. Over a business lunch HR managers of internationally operating companies will have an expert speaker providing food for thought, followed by a discussion to exchange ideas and share best practice with other HR managers.
Academic Transfer, the 'Dutch Academics Careersite' is run by the combined Dutch Universities and aims at those who would like to work in academic research and education. The European Patent Office has developed into a central pillar of the innovation process in Europe. To keep up with the challenges of recruiting and retaining multi-language ICT specialists, Nannette Ripmeester has designed a marketing strategy for EPO's employer brand.
