- Going Global! - Looking for work around the globe
Outline: This workshop outlines various success factors for the international job hunt, preparing you to become a true globehopper. ELM will explain issues that probably didn't even cross your mind when deciding to go for an international career. Different rules and habits regarding immigration, job application and selection procedures and an unfamiliar management culture are only some examples of the many issues looked at during this workshop.

- Going Dutch! - Looking for work in the
Netherlands
Outline: This workshop has been designed for professionals, future- and recent graduates in order to find the routes to employment in the Netherlands. Expert speakers from Expertise in Labour Mobility will be addressing issues like Dutch culture and way of life, next to management culture and job seeking skills in the Netherlands.

Outline: This workshop prepares you to start your international career before saying 'good bye' and packing your bags, because international career needs more than just a mere CV translation.

- How to manage cultural differences
Outline: Did you realise that in an Asian work environment, doing something right is better than doing something fast? In Europe, on the other hand - and in most Western labour markets in general - faster is better! As a European going to work in Asia or vice versa, how do you prepare yourself for this challenge? Which are the things you need to be aware of?
This workshop on managing cultural differences will help resolve uncertainty and potential hesitation by illustrating how to gain a degree of cultural sensitivity and explaining the value of differences.

You will receive an introduction to the Dutch language, as well as practical information on the Dutch labour market and Dutch culture and way of life.
