DESCRIPTION:With a focus on international mobility and youth participation\, The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is excited to present the third edition of the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM)\, which is Europe’s leading gathering of educators\, students\, and other stakeholders. The Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM) is the biggest conference where the Erasmus Generation meets to learn and discuss the future of mobility in Europe and beyond. EGM 2024 will be held from the 4th to the 7th of April 2024 at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería\, University of Seville\, Spain. \nThis year’s edition of EGM\, the largest student-led conference of its kind\, is dedicated to addressing pressing issues in international mobility and youth engagement. With the central theme of “Removing barriers for active and equal participation”\, this unique event will bring together over 1000 participants from across Europe and beyond to foster dialogue\, exchange ideas\, and work collectively to enhance international experiences and promote equal participation. \nJoin Sava Dikov\, Jeroen van Lent\, Íñigo of “Ya Semos Europeos“\, Abbey Gordon\, Prof. Dr. Ángel Luis Trigo and Nannette Ripmeester for their EGM panel discussion about “How employers value international experiences” on the 5th of April 2024 at 1:00pm – 2:30pm CET. \nPanel discussion description: \n“Are you curious to know what gets students hired and what’s the value of international experience for your career? Take the chance to take your golden tip directly from the employers? Find out what are the most asked questions\, the desired skills and how employers try to uncover them during a job interview by navigating between your potential and proven capability. DESCRIPTION:Nannette Ripmeester will deliver the workshop ”Looking for work in The Netherlands” for LLM international students of Leiden University. This interactive workshop is aimed at bringing clarity to early career development for international students that are looking for work in the Netherlands. \nAfter the workshop\, participants will understand more about the Dutch labour market as well as the cultural differences in the Dutch application process and procedures. It will give international law students a better picture of what to expect and how to move forward with their career in the Netherlands. \nWe’ll answer questions such as what’s the best CV format for the Netherlands\, how to write a successful application letter\, what questions to expect in a Dutch job interview\, what to wear (or not to wear).
