DESCRIPTION:With a focus on international mobility and youth participation\, The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is excited to present the third edition of the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM)\, which is Europe’s leading gathering of educators\, students\, and other stakeholders. The Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM) is the biggest conference where the Erasmus Generation meets to learn and discuss the future of mobility in Europe and beyond. EGM 2024 will be held from the 4th to the 7th of April 2024 at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería\, University of Seville\, Spain. \nThis year’s edition of EGM\, the largest student-led conference of its kind\, is dedicated to addressing pressing issues in international mobility and youth engagement. With the central theme of “Removing barriers for active and equal participation”\, this unique event will bring together over 1000 participants from across Europe and beyond to foster dialogue\, exchange ideas\, and work collectively to enhance international experiences and promote equal participation. \nJoin Sava Dikov\, Jeroen van Lent\, Íñigo of “Ya Semos Europeos“\, Abbey Gordon\, Prof. Dr. Ángel Luis Trigo and Nannette Ripmeester for their EGM panel discussion about “How employers value international experiences” on the 5th of April 2024 at 1:00pm – 2:30pm CET. \nPanel discussion description: \n“Are you curious to know what gets students hired and what’s the value of international experience for your career? DESCRIPTION:As part of HUMANE’s Winter School Programme 2024\,  Nannette Ripmeester will give a presentation about “Leveraging intercultural competences in diverse teams” as part of the Global Challenges of Higher Education Institution theme on March 18th\, 2024 at 14:30 – 15:30 CET. \nThe HUMANE Winter School develops the leadership capability of senior managers on the core theme of managing changes in strategy and policy. These themes are developed through strategic conversations with highly experienced leaders and managers in higher education\, practical casework and highly interactive team building sessions. The case material focuses on internationalisation strategy and policy choices and approaches\, and their implications for professional services across faculties\, schools\, and central support departments. \nThis Winter programme\, held in Barcelona from the 17th to the 22nd of March 2024\, will encourage discussion and debate\, incorporating insights from the host region and inspiration from participants. DESCRIPTION:Join Amanda Connolly\, Sarah Gonzalez\, Adilia Ross\, Helen Pearson\, Gwenyth A. Smith\, Linda Melville & Nannette Ripmeester for the Virtual Enrichment workshop taking place on December 4th\, 2023 at 2:00 – 4:00 PM EST (8:00 – 10:00 PM CET) and there will be 3 or 4 hours of additional virtual small group work. \nThroughout each aspect of the Enrichment Program\, networking\, professionalization\, and the best practices of teaching and training are featured. Some of the workshop objectives include learning the elements to consider when building a training team and deciding on roles\, exploring ways to prepare and adapt the training\, and understanding the strucuture required for delivery. These features of the Enrichment Program are carried over into the work that is done within each Trainer Corps involvement opportunity and are 100% transferable to the work you do on your campus or within your organization! \n
