DESCRIPTION:Employability Lab Webinar: Maximising your (virtual) exchange impact  \nWhen the world was adjusting to a remote reality amid the COVID-19 pandemic\, students were also invited to give virtual exchange programs a go. And now we’re trying to find a new blended balance\, trying to keep the silver linings from the pandemic and opening up to what seems possible again in-person. \nThis webinar is aimed at NSCC international students that have participated in an (virtual) exchange\, to help them reflect on their (virtual) experience\, maximise the impact on their professional development and learn how to translate it into future career success. Participants will learn how to: \n– Conceptualise the benefits of a virtual experience \n– Understand the benefits of meeting and connecting with other cultures \n– Gain the skills employers are looking for in a post-pandemic era \n– Translate a mobility experience into future career success (with examples) \nThis webinar is brought to you by Expertise in Labour Mobility supported by the international office of Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) and will be presented by international mobility expert\, Nannette Ripmeester.
