DESCRIPTION:Join Katie Orr (Director\, NSCC)\, Wendy Curtis (Dean of International Strategy\, Partnerships\, and Market Development\, Fanshawe College) and Nannette Ripmeester (Director Expertise in Labour Mobility\, Etio) for their CBIE session about Beyond the Horizon: Make Sure You Keep Listening to the Student Voice on November 6th\, 09:45 AM to 10:04 AM\, at the Westin Hotel and the Shaw Centre. \nAbout the session: \n“In this interactive session\, globally benchmarked research data will be presented to understand how two institutions use data to ensure their strategies improve the student experience and their institution’s reputation. An analysis of student satisfaction\, the importance of employability\, and the strengths and weaknesses of both institutions\, as compared to global and North American benchmarks\, will be discussed. Two experienced SIOs will share their experiences of evidence-based improvements in international education. Presenters will then discuss how these survey results can help to inform quality assurance measures that are becoming increasingly important for Canadian colleges and universities.” \nCBIE2024 is Canada’s International Education conference and will take place on 3-6 November 2024. This year’s conference will focus on innovation and recalibration in international education looking further into the future than ever before. The theme – Beyond The Horizon – underscores the commitment to convening IE practitioners\, policymakers\, and stakeholders for collaborative and constructive dialogue and thought leadership that carefully considers students\,  campuses\, communities\, and role in the global landscape. \nInterested in knowing more?
