SUMMARY:APAIE 2023: March 14 - Measuring the impact of learning mobility programmes on graduate employability
DESCRIPTION:Room 3E \nJoin Katie\, Davina and Nannette for their APAIE presentation about Measuring the impact of learning mobility programmes on graduate employability on March 14th 2023. \nThis presentation will examine several programs from Canada\, Europe\, and Australia that seek to quantify the employability benefits of learning mobility projects. The results of a recent Australian AIEA study that looked at the relationship between graduate learning abroad experiences and career success in terms of skill development will be presented. Research from a European initiative supported by the Erasmus+ program will also be presented\, which offers a collection of cutting-edge tools to assist students make the most of and explain their study abroad experiences. Additionally\, we take a closer look at a CiCan-funded Canadian pilot project that uses technology to assist the growth of employability skills\, with a particular emphasis on a digital tool for monitoring employability outcomes and evaluating students’ intercultural competence. \nAPAIE2023 is the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education’s annual conference and will take place on 13-17 March 2023 in Bangkok. The presentations\, which are backed by benchmarked global data\, will clarify why employability should be a significant part of any successful school’s marketing mix\, resulting in alumni who will serve as brand ambassadors for their institution.
