SUMMARY:Erasmus Skills Webinar: Supporting students in identifying international skills on the CV: how to support students in career planning
DESCRIPTION:Supporting students in identifying international skills on the CV: how to support students in career planning \nThe Erasmus Skills team is organising an online post-conference webinar on March 4th 2021; this webinar is aimed at career advisors at higher education institutions and presents how Erasmus+ skills can be identified and presented in a CV. \nThe workshop will dig deeper into the topic of supporting students throughout their mobility experience. We will look at possible ways to embed the learning objectives and skills gained through international mobility more closely into the curriculum. Both speakers are highly experienced in career coaching and it promises to become an interactive webinar amongst career coach peers. \nSpeakers:\nKaterina Papakota\, Career Counselor (AUTH)\nNannette Ripmeester\, Director\, Expertise in Labour Mobility \nPLEASE REGISTER HERE: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/8672675453872376847 \nThe Erasmus Skills project has been funded with support from the European Commission. SUMMARY:Erasmus+ Alumni Employability Training for Career Officers
DESCRIPTION:While the job hunt for fresh graduates was rigorous before\, the pandemic has made the transition from higher education to the labour market even more difficult. How will University career guidance support its students with this transition during the pandemic and in a post-pandemic world of work? \nTogether with our partner organisations (ESN\, EUF\, Leo-Net\, EIIL\, Umons\, UAH\, Muni\, Universita degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata) Expertise in Labour Mobility (ELM) is participating in the ErasmusJobs project\, funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. \nThe ErasmusJobs project’s objective is to bridge the skill gap between higher education and the international labour market. Join us on March 24 & 25 for this two-day training\, especially designed for career officers to help them guide students towards potential jobs. \nNannette Ripmeester\, the founder of ELM and CareerProfessor\, will be addressing one of the most common threats facing students in their move to the global labour market: translating their Erasmus exchange skills into stories that employers value.  Going on\, Erasmus will equip students with new skills that\, in turn\, will be beneficial to their professional development and their new employer. \nBut how do they translate their unique skill set into eye-catching CV entries and interesting job interview topics? \nThese training events will be carried out in a Train-the-Trainer fashion to create a multiplier effect among participants. The training will equip career officers with a new toolset to organise workshops at their institutions\, to further guide colleagues in supporting students in their international job hunt. \nWhat to expect on March 24 & 25? Click here for the program and here to register. \nThe Erasmus Jobs project has been funded with support from the European Commission.
