SUMMARY:Spring Forum for Higher Education International Affairs
DESCRIPTION:The theme of the forum is internationality in transition. The theme will be viewed through the new vision for strengthening the international dimension of Finnish higher education and research by 2035. On the Thursday of the event\, in session 18 (‘Kansainväliset opiskelijat Suomessa – ISB kyselyn tuloksia‘)\, Nannette Ripmeester (Expertise in Labour Mobility/i-graduate) will together with Toni Kaila (Aalto University)\, Joanna Kumpula (Tampere Univeristy)\, and Hanna Saarela (Oulu University) discuss the International Student Barometer (ISB) findings in Finland and how Finnish Institutions have been making use of the ISB. \nSession Abstract in English:\nThe session looks into the international students’ satisfaction survey\, the International Student Barometer (ISB)\, latest results from the perspective of Finnish higher education institutions. In addition\, the session looks into how the higher education institutions have used the results for their own strategic development work and the well-being of international students. \nSession Abstract in Finnish:\nSessiossa tarkastellaan kansainvälisten opiskelijoiden tyytyväisyyskyselyn International Student Barometer (ISB) viimeisimpiä tuloksia suomalaisten korkeakoulujen näkökulmasta. Lisäksi esitellään erilaisia tapoja\, miten korkeakoulut ovat tuoneet selvityksen tuloksia omaan strategiseen kehittämistyöhönsä sekä kansainvälisten opiskelijoiden hyvinvoinnin edistämiseksi.
