After being focused on a research project for a long period of time, it becomes intimidating to think of life after a PhD degree, especially when it comes to planning the next career step. Expertise in Labour Mobility (ELM) and Nannette Ripmeester support Radboud University’s international PhD candidates to prepare for a career after their PhD.
A high-intensity career course of three full days tailored to Dutch & international PhD candidates will provide participants with the necessary tools and tips to understand their career values and identify future career paths based on their interests and skills. This workshop will also help participants get to grips with their international career development and create their own action plan for their next career step. Most importantly, they will be able to act on that action plan and take their global career towards the next level, either within academia or beyond. Delegates will feel empowered to look for work in their research field, inside and outside of the Netherlands
