How 106,427 international students use and perceive AI

On May 15, 2025, the article “How 106,427 international students use and perceive AI”, authored by Nannette Ripmeester, was published on the University World News website, revealing key insights around artificial intelligence for higher education institutions.

The  International Student Barometer (ISB) added a series of questions around artificial intelligence to the ISB 2024 survey wave. Students are rather positive about the impact of AI-based tools on their learning experience, with a very high level of satisfaction globally of 94% (taking strongly agree (34%) and agree (60%) together). Moreover, data tells us that currently enrolled students are apparently not anxious for a future where artificial intelligence plays a major role. Interested to read the article?
